On the Slipway - winter The river at the Harbourside froze over the other winter. With the ebb and flood of the tides the ice broke and reformed in a series of hollow sounds. Just across the bend in the river the hull of the old tea clipper is propped on the slipway awaiting restoration; on this occasion surrounded by snow and the bitter cold light of a late January afternoon. |
