Keith's paintings are textured by dramatically "bludgeoning the paint into place" with the surface scraped and rebuilt to form overlapping layers of colour.

Biography
Keith Charles Salmon´s commitment to his art is total. A gradual decline in his sight over the years has only added to his determination to continue to produce paintings of outstanding beauty and appeal.
His love affair with art - ever present during his childhood - flourished during his time at Falmouth School of Art where he completed a BA in Fine Art.
From here he exhibited at a number of respected venues including the Tettenhall Gallery in Wolverhampton, the Whitworth Young Contemporaries Gallery in Manchester, Tyne and Wear´s Washington Arts Centre, and the Red Square Gallery in London.
Today Keith works from a studio at Courtyard Studios at Irvine´s Harbourside, Irvine, Scotland while continuing to exhibit his work in both local and national settings including the North Ayrshire Open´s, Racquet Hall, Eglinton, Irvine´s Harbour Arts Centre and The Music Hall in Shrewsbury.
As well as painting, Keith has also turned his talented hand to a range of ceramic sculpture and craftware.
